DRIVING WOMEN’S GOLF FORWARD
PXG Golf partnered with the Women’s All Pro Tour (WAPT) to present a two-week series—blending 54-hole stroke play and a match play showdown—at the prestigious World Golf Village. This inaugural championship celebrates women’s initiatives in professional golf, business, and community. The highly anticipated event provides female pros an opportunity to compete at a world-class event with global exposure.
Creative Direction
The championship logo must embody PXG’s brand, highlight the tournament’s elite competition, and remain adaptable beyond PXG’s sponsorship. Deliver three conceptual directions for a new tournament logo that Is unmistakably PXG-branded. Emphasizes the unique women’s aspect of the competition. Incorporates performance-driven elements and subtle references to the World Golf Village setting.

Shape inspired by the PXG 0211 driver’s crest-like silhouette. Visual elements showcases the World Golf Village’s signature water hole. Typography emphasizes “CHAMPIONSHIP” to convey an elite, high-stakes feel. Strong, bold type for “WOMEN’S” and “MATCH PLAY” to highlight the unique women-focused nature.

Features the World Golf Village’s iconic tower at the design’s center. Overall form contours the distinctive PXG logo to underscore premier sponsorship. Brand Integration, the extended PXG stripes connect seamlessly underscoring the word “CHAMPIONSHIP.” Soft ripple effect in the typography nods to St. Johns County’s flag.
Birdie
Feminine-forward design prioritizing the “WOMEN’S MATCH PLAY” text. Flowing ribbon-like lines lead the eye toward the PXG brand mark. Smooth, free-form strokes add a sense of energy and motion. Hierarchy ensures the women’s event identity stands front and center.

The iconic World Golf Village tower becomes the “I” in “CHAMPIONSHIP,” emphasizing the event’s location and heritage. Center circle references the water feature hole at World Golf Village. Subtle ripples within the circle echo the St. Johns County flag and bring fluidity. Elite, Competitive strong letterforms convey the intensity of championship golf. The prominent PXG logo cements the championship’s sponsorship and brand authority.

Inspired by Floridas vibrant beach sunsets. Dusk is an almost black, a nod to PXG’s brand without being literal. Trophy Gold and Sunset Gold signals prestige, warmth, and championship energy.
